Blissfully Blue Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial
Hello everyone!
With it typically being the Christmas holidays, I’ve been just lazing around at home and spending time with my family. =) However I thought I’d be a bit more productive today and what better way to do so than by creating another eye make up tutorial! So here’s my ‘Blissfully Blue Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial’, hope you enjoy it!
Step 1) Start by applying Ubran Decay Primer Potion all over your eye lid and along your bottom lash line, blend in using your ring finger. Using a Sigma E60 Large Shader brush, pick up some of the ‘Teal’ colour from the Sleek Makeup Palette in Original and apply to the inner half of your eye.
Step 2) Using the other side of the brush, pick up some of the ‘Bright Blue’ colour which is right next to the ‘Teal’ colour in the palette. Apply this to the outer corner of your eye in a ‘V’ shape. With a Laura Mercier Smudge Brush or equivalent, mix the ‘Bright Blue’ and ‘Teal’ and apply to the lower lash line.
Step 3) Blend the edges with a Blending Brush (I used Sigma’s E40 Tapered Blending Brush). Then with a pencil brush (here I’m using Sigma’s E30 Pencil Brush) and dip into the ‘Deep Navy Blue’ colour and apply into the crease of your eye and outer corner, over the already applied ’Bright Blue’. Blend everything out again.
Step 4) Next line your eyes with your favourite eye liner, mine is MAC’s Fluidline in Blacktrack which I apply with a MAC 266 – Small Angle Brush. Curl your lashes, apply Mascara and False Lashes (if desired).
Step 6) Using a small brush apply a ‘Leafy Green’ colour to the lower lash line, closest to the inner part of your eye.
Step 7) Finish off your usual routine and the look is complete =)
This sultry, smoky eye look would be lovely for any New Years eve parties you may have lined up!
